Want to spend your summer by the beach, truly making a difference in a young person's life, then Camp La Jolla is the place for you. We are currently looking for Summer Directors and Assistants for Preteen Girls, Preteen Boys, Teen Girls, Teen Boys, Pre-Collegiate Girls, Young Adult Women, Mature Adult Women, Evening Program, Nutrition Team, Behavior Modification Team, Transportation, Day Program, as well as the Athletic Department. Each camp program is staffed with a director, assistant director, group counselors and specialist counselors. The camp director is responsible for seeing that their camp runs smoothly and meets camp objectives. The directors attend staff meetings, are present in the camp office daily, provide on-going supervision of staff, and design class schedules as well as days off and on-duty schedules. They also answer many questions and solve problems as needed for the campers and staff. They must be able to communicate well with administrators, campers as well as parents.
