NATURE OF POSITION
< P >
Education Unlimited's mission is to provide a quality learning experience in the most comfortable and relaxed camp atmosphere possible. EU focuses on kids and we expect those that represent us to as well. The Program Site Director is probably the most challenging, but most rewarding, position at camp. The responsibilities are so diverse that really no other person on campus will have as close contact with students and teachers alike. Fundamentally, the job of the director is to manage the day-to-day operations of the camp; using a schoolhouse analogy the director becomes principal of EU Jr./Sr. High.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
< P >
Generally the Director has worked in some capacity for Education Unlimited prior to their tenure as Director. However, we have hired, and will continue to hire people that come with high recommendations from former and current Education Unlimited staff. It is expected that a Site Director be familiar with the summer camp atmosphere as well enjoy spending time with kids and teens.
< P >
While not mandatory, many of our Site Directors work with students in an academic atmosphere during the school year and therefore are able to help create the mix of academia and fun that an EU camp promises. However, Directors must have an interest in and passion for working with kids.
< P >
The Site Director position also requires some administrative and organizational tasks. Successful Directors must be able to manage the campers, camp staff, camp correspondence, manage and meet the camp budget, all simultaneously.
