PURPOSE
To plan, direct and supervise the tutoring program of Star Ranch summer camp. Tutoring involves creative games and activities that will promote and increase successful learning for LD/ADD/ADHD children.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS
-Set up educational goals for camper based upon information provided on application and parent interview (during check-in)
-Plan and implement lesson plans to meet those goals
-Complete educational reports for each child each session in a timely manner
-Share results of campers progress with parents at check-out
OTHER FUNCTIONS
-Provide resource to other staff in reference to learning styles, particular disabilities
-Set up Nova Room
-Conduct initial and end-of-season inventory and store equipment
-Conduct daily check of program area and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and good repair.
-These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required.
